                My husband and I are physician owners of Pecks Family Practice.  About a year ago we had to terminate our office manager who had been with us from the very start of our practice.  We were suffering from poor cash flow, missing monies, huge accounts receivable and very bad staff morale.  We had poor cash controls in the office.  Both my husband and I knew little about coding and the way billing was handled. We simply left everything to our office manager.

 

                As you can imagine with the above scenario, it was very frightening turning our billing over to another company.  But Proclaims made this process easy.  Michelle was calm, straightforward and patient. She explained things in person, over the phone and on email and was constantly available for the many questions we had. She helped us develop our billing encounter form. She installed Medware and had us work down the accounts receivable on our archaic system (Versys) and start slowly with our new system. She trained our people. She established cash controls for us and taught us how to use our day sheets. She helped us learn coding. She helped us understand the complexities of the billing process. In short, she totally revamped our billing system.

 

                It is over a year after we have made these changes.  My husband and I pride ourselves on understanding the coding. Our staff morale is up. We know exactly where our business is. Our cash flow is excellent. Our accounts receivable is great.  We could not have done this without Proclaims.
